Do I need to clean my house before you come over?
No. Absolutely not. The room on the right was an utter disaster, but you really, truly can't tell. I'd much rather have the moment of my husband learning to wrap my daughter into a carrier preserved than to have a deleted photo because a room seemed too messy. I shoot tight frames--you'd be hard pressed to see any mess, and if something is in the way of a great shot, believe me, I'll let you know.

What should I wear?
You need to be comfortable. Period. One of the beauties of black and white photography is that color is far less important than texture. Choose something that you feel great wearing, and that will absolutely come through in the photos. Don't worry--if you're stumped, I'll dig through your clothes with you to find the perfect outfit.

What if my kids have a total meltdown?
Kids melt down sometimes. I knew that going into this gig. I'm very patient, and will take all the time needed for the situation to settle, and if it just doesn't, I'll come back at a better time.

What can I do with my disc of images?
When I hand the files over to you, they are yours. You'll get a print release allowing you to do wherever you want--make prints, post them up on Facebook, make a billboard... All I ask is that you send people my way if you love them!

Black and white is great and all, but will you do some color for me?
I love black and white photos for their adaptability--they accent home decor seamlessly. However, I understand that you may want color as an option, and I am certainly willing to provide that if you request it before our shoot.

I want to book. What are your payment options?
I collect payment at the beginning of the session. I want to make sure that everyone who wants to preserve valuable family moments can, so I also offer payment plans on a case by case basis.

How long will it take me to get my photos?
My turnaround time is no more than 2 weeks, but I'm usually done editing them much earlier than that.
